The system activates automatically via GPS and enables seamless monitoring of the front area. You are warned acoustically in good time of obstacles, protecting you from personal injury and property damage – and parking becomes effortless. The sensors are mounted almost flush within the bumper.

Optional accessories
Sensor positioning note
The correct functioning of the PDC depends on the position and alignment of the sensors, therefore it is important to check certain conditions before starting installation. The area inside the bumper must provide sufficient depth and space for trouble-free installation. The sensors must be installed between 35 and 65 cm high in the bumper. The sensor surface must be aligned vertically to the ground. The distance between the sensors can vary between 30 and 70 cm and should be evenly spaced. The distances of the outer sensors must be identical.
Handling note
For vehicles equipped with a trailer hitch, the PDC system should not be activated when operating with a trailer. In some cases, smaller objects such as bushes, poles, or posts may not be detected by the system and could result in vehicle damage without human intervention.
Installation note
Please connect the positive terminal of the speaker to the ignition line (KL15) and not to permanent positive power in order to avoid deep discharge of the vehicle battery. Installation of the sensors in metal bumpers is not possible.
Safety note
Responsibility when parking and performing other maneuvering operations lies solely with the driver. The electronic parking assistance system is a driver assistance system but cannot replace the driver’s attention. Due to physical limitations, ultrasonic measurement may produce blind spots in object detection in cases of poor sound reflection. Therefore, the assessment of obstacles always remains the responsibility of the driver.
