Smartphone interface with Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto and MirrorLink for Volkswagen Polo AW1 with the following equipment:
- MIB/MIB2 - High/Discover Pro and standard systems as well as
- Composition Media with 5.8", 6.5" or 8" monitor and 4-pin HSD connection, drive located in the glove compartment
The image is displayed on the full factory monitor and audio playback is routed through the audio AUX input of your factory multimedia system. Before placing your order, please check whether your factory multimedia system has an AUX input or whether it can be retrofitted.
Our smartphone interface is compatible with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto, providing a smart and safer way to use your smartphone in the car. Everything is controlled via the vehicle’s original buttons and control systems. Of course, you can also use Siri or OK Google voice control via the included microphone.
Everything you want to do with your smartphone while driving can be operated directly via the vehicle display using Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto. You can easily get directions, send and receive messages. If your vehicle is equipped with a factory Bluetooth hands-free system, you can use it with our smartphone integration to make calls.
While navigating, you can listen to your favorite music via Spotify or your favorite radio station through a radio app – while still focusing on the road.
Simply connect your smartphone to the USB port of our system and you are ready to go.
Even more conveniently, you can connect your Apple iPhone wirelessly via Wi-Fi. Wireless Apple CarPlay® is supported from Apple iPhone 5.

Before purchasing and installing, please check whether the product is compatible with your vehicle type, model year and entertainment system. Your entertainment system must have an audio AUX input for sound playback. Incompatibility may cause damage.

Important Product Notice
The MEDIA IN port on the housing is not an HDMI input for external HDMI sources. This port is required for additional modules in some vehicle types.
Installation Notice
This product is intended for vehicles with a 12V battery. Do not install it in vehicles with different voltage. Never extend the HSD signal cables. This product consists of highly precise components and should not be exposed to strong impacts. Never open the housing.
To ensure driving safety and avoid traffic law violations, never operate the product while driving. Optional reversing cameras are only visible while maneuvering. Always pay attention to your surroundings and never rely solely on the camera.
All installation steps should only be carried out by trained professionals. During installation the ignition must be switched off and the product must only be connected to power after all wiring has been completed.
NEVER connect or disconnect cables while the system is powered on to avoid damage to the monitor or the product.
Route cables so they do not come into contact with metal edges. Damaged wiring may lead to fire hazards.
Avoid any contact with hot surfaces when wiring the main unit. High temperatures may damage the wiring and cause short circuits, arcing or fire.
Do NOT install the product in a humid environment to avoid electric shock, damage or fire caused by short circuits.
When receiving the product, please check that all components are included in the packaging. If anything is missing, inform the supplier / manufacturer.
Start the engine before loading and check whether the interface displays the functions correctly. Verify that the vehicle interface operates correctly.

Handle dismantled vehicle parts carefully during installation to avoid scratches on the dashboard.
Unused connectors must be insulated to avoid short circuits. Cable connections must be firmly connected.
Avoid interference with control components such as the steering wheel, accelerator and brake pedal.
