Our specially configured kit for vehicles with the following equipment:

all Composition Media systems (PR number: I8F) with separate head unit in the glove compartment
all Composition Media systems (PR number: I8E) with separate head unit in the glove compartment
This kit can be used independently of additional PR numbers 9WT (App-Connect), 9S8 (Virtual Cockpit) or QV3 (DAB radio)!

Normally, the Composition Media radio installed in the VW Golf 7 only supports direct connection of a rear view camera if the vehicle is additionally equipped with DAB radio (PR no. QV3), App-Connect (PR no. 9WT) or the Virtual Cockpit (PR no. 9S8). Since not all vehicles are equipped with one of these additional features, we have assembled this kit, which operates completely independently and does not require coding into the vehicle. - Also suitable for vehicles without DAB radio (PR no. QV3), without App-Connect (PR no. 9WT) or without Virtual Cockpit (PR no. 9S8)

Scope of delivery:

1x NavLinkz interface for rear view camera
1x Camera connection instructions (German)
1x Camera interface connection instructions (German)

Installation time: approx. 4 hours (depending on vehicle disassembly)

Installation notes:

Remove the tailgate trim and replace the tailgate emblem with the new emblem including integrated camera
Route the wiring harness into the passenger compartment; the supplied cable is connected to the camera interface
Connect the camera interface according to the included instructions (manual available under downloads)
No coding is required on the vehicle after installation!!

Additional notes:

*In case of incomplete compatibility of the vehicle CAN bus with the interface or in the event of an analog connection, the functions "dynamic guide lines" and "visual PDC display" cannot be used. In this case, the camera guide lines will be displayed statically.
