This retrofit kit additionally features the “Speed Limiter” function (speed limiter), which can be considered a reversed cruise control. The driver controls the speed with the accelerator pedal, but the speed limiter prevents unintentionally exceeding a preselected/set speed. Switching between the cruise control system and the speed limiter is conveniently performed using a dedicated button. The multifunction display in the instrument cluster shows which of the two assistance functions is currently selected.
This set enables the use of the following functions:
- All functions identical to a factory-installed cruise control system
- The set speed is displayed in the multifunction display
- When GRA is active, the green GRA symbol is displayed in the instrument cluster

Installation of the supplied components
- Install the new steering column switch with GRA function
- Install the new accelerator pedal (only for manual transmission vehicles; not required for DSG)
- Install the GRA control wire between steering column control unit and engine control unit (not required in vehicles with factory-installed speed limiter)

Activation of the cruise control system
This procedure varies depending on the selected order option – please select the desired variant in the product options:

Variant 1 – manual activation of the cruise control system
- The activation of the GRA is performed according to the enclosed instructions via simple coding of the engine and steering column electronics
- A standard diagnostic tester such as VCDS, VCP, VCTool, ODIS is required for activation
- In this variant NO online connection to the manufacturer is required!
- The new equipment is not reported to the vehicle manufacturer

Variant 2 – online activation of the cruise control system via activation document with license protection
- The activation of the GRA is carried out ONLINE via a VW authorized workshop or a workshop with online connection to the manufacturer
