Installation of the supplied components
- Install the new steering wheel buttons with GRA function
- Install the GRA control wire between the steering column control unit and the engine control unit

Activation of the cruise control system
This procedure differs depending on the selected order option – please choose the desired variant in the options:

Variant 1 – manual activation of the cruise control system
- The activation of the GRA is performed according to the enclosed instructions via simple coding of the engine and steering column electronics
- A standard diagnostic tester such as VCDS, VCP, VCTool, ODIS is required for activation
- In this variant NO online connection to the manufacturer is required!
- The new equipment is not reported to the vehicle manufacturer

Advantage of manual activation: lower-cost retrofit kit + not tied to an authorized workshop

Variant 2 – online activation of the cruise control system via activation document with license protection
- The activation of the GRA is carried out ONLINE via a VW authorized workshop or a workshop with online connection to the manufacturer
- Activation of the GRA via VCDS, OBD-Eleven or similar testers is NOT possible in this variant

Advantage of online activation: the new equipment "GRA + Speed Limiter" is stored in the factory equipment record of your Volkswagen and the parts catalog is updated to the newly installed components
