The following work must be carried out to retrofit the cruise control system; please strictly observe the activation instructions!

Installation of the supplied components
- Install the new steering column switch or the new steering wheel buttons (depending on equipment)
- Install the new accelerator pedal (only in vehicles with manual transmission; not required for DSG)
- Install the GRA control wire between the steering column control unit and the engine control unit (not required in vehicles with factory-installed speed limiter)

Activation of the cruise control system
This procedure varies depending on the selected order option – please select the desired variant in the options:

Variant 1 – manual activation of the cruise control system
- The activation of the GRA is carried out according to the enclosed instructions via simple coding of the engine and steering column electronics
- A standard diagnostic tester such as VCDS, VCP, VCTool, ODIS or OBD-Eleven is required for activation
- In this variant NO online connection to the manufacturer is required!
- The new equipment is not reported to the vehicle manufacturer
