VW Crafter SY Facelift Genuine Volkswagen Leather Steering Wheel, for Vehicles with Plastic/Rubber Steering Wheel

Genuine VW Crafter SY Facelift leather steering wheel, ideal for retrofitting vehicles equipped with a standard plastic/rubber steering wheel or as a replacement if the existing steering wheel is damaged or worn.

Scope of Delivery

1x Genuine VW leather steering wheel with black stitching (as shown)
in smooth leather or perforated leather on the sides (depending on the selected option)

Compatibility

Suitable for all VW Crafter SY Facelift models, except vehicles:
- without multifunction buttons on the steering wheel
- with steering wheel paddle shifters
- with steering wheel heating
- with Lane Assist Plus (PR number 6I2, 6I6)

Retrofitting Procedure

Remove the airbag.
Remove the steering wheel trim including the buttons from the old rubber steering wheel (the trim is simply clipped in from the front).
Loosen the steering wheel bolt and remove the steering wheel.
Fit the new steering wheel onto the steering column shaft in the same position (observe the markings on the steering column and steering wheel).
Tighten the bolt to the specified torque.
Clip the steering wheel trim including the buttons onto the new steering wheel.
Reinstall the airbag module.

Steering wheels for vehicles with paddle shifters are available from us upon request.
Steering wheels for vehicles with Lane Assist Plus (PR number 6I2 or 6I6) are available from us upon request.
Steering wheels for vehicles with heated steering wheels are available from us upon request.
The removal and installation of the airbag module may only be carried out by appropriately trained specialist personnel with the required qualifications for working on airbag and seat belt pretensioner systems.
We recommend using a new steering wheel retaining bolt. This is available from us under part number N90799102
