Product Description

The Original Volkswagen Cruise Control System assists the driver in maintaining a constant speed. Especially on long journeys and when towing, you can now travel in a relaxed manner and take your foot off the accelerator pedal. When pressing the brake or clutch, the function is automatically deactivated, and the Resume function allows for the automatic resumption of the previously set speed. The easy and intuitive operation ensures maximum driving comfort.

This kit allows you to use the following functions:

All functions as in a factory-installed CCS
The fixed speed is displayed in the MFA (Multi-Function Display)
When CCS is active, the green CCS symbol is displayed in the speedometer
You can increase the speed with the + button
You can decrease the speed with the - button
You can resume the last stored speed with the Resume button
Automatic deactivation when pressing the brake
Automatic deactivation when pressing the clutch (for vehicles with manual transmission)
All previous functions on the steering wheel remain intact

VW Polo AE1 from production date 09.08.2021 WITH installed multifunction steering wheel (e.g. PR number 2FB, 2FD or 2FE) AND factory-installed Speed Limiter (PR number 8T9)

Retrofit Information

No parts need to be replaced or additionally installed on the vehicle itself, as the steering wheel buttons already support the cruise control function from the factory
First, have the CCS activated by an authorized Volkswagen dealership with online access to the manufacturer. The activation document for this is included in our kit.
Now, follow our instructions to code the cruise control function (e.g., using VCDS, ODIS, OBD-Eleven, Carly, etc.)
The retrofit of the cruise control system is now completed

Advantage of online activation: the new CCS feature will be registered as part of your VW Polo AE1's equipment in the factory!

Notes

Activation of the CCS via VCDS, OBD-Eleven, or similar testers is NOT possible; this step must be done through an authorized Volkswagen dealership with online access to the manufacturer. The final coding can be done with a standard diagnostic tester and is necessary.
The depiction of the steering wheel buttons is for illustration purposes only. This kit includes only the activation document and instructions for the final coding.
The SVM activation document is vehicle-specific and non-returnable. Please refer to our cancellation policy for electronic software/hardware products.

Also suitable for hybrid and electric vehicles
NOT suitable for vehicles WITHOUT a factory-installed Speed Limiter (PR number 8T0); we can retrofit these vehicles upon request
NOT suitable for vehicles WITHOUT a multifunction steering wheel; we can retrofit these vehicles upon request
NOT suitable for vehicles with Touch multifunction buttons on the steering wheel (PR number 2PE)
